Tball 2008

Well, the 2008, tball season has come to a close. We lost the last game,which would have sent us to the tounament round, and eventually the championship game...the kids played really well, and were disappointed of course, but they certainly had ALOT to be proud of. As they say...you've come a long way baby!
Evan was #7 (Paw Paw picked it after Mickey Mantle),and played right-center field...he got bored occasionally, but also made a couple of really good plays...I think we have decided if we get to pick his number next year...it will be #29, Brittany's number the last 4 years on varsity. Maybe it will bring him the same good luck it has brought her...would be nice to carry on that tradition, too!!
The last thing the team does together is a pizza party, at a local pizza place. I will unfortunately have to miss it, Brittany's graduation is the same day...but Evan is so excited...the will get to eat pizzz and best of all the trophies will be handed out!!!
It has been a very good season...and I hope he will stick with it....Seems like ball is in the family genes, so better go with it!!!
