Catching up...Part VI

FINALLY, we are at March...big month so far, and it's not over yet!!! Let's see...Evan turned 6 on the 6th...we had our "Fink day" the weekend of his birthday...he had alot of fun...although it was kind of cold, and the kids didn't get to go outside...they had alot of fun playing together...

I have hard-wood floors...FINALLY!! I will put some pics on the next blog (that won't be 6 months from now!)...they look amazing...Kenny did such a good job...we have to finish up the trim work, but it was certainly worth the wait...now I need new end tables, a new coffee table, entertainment center, tv, pics...and on, and on, and on.....

Catching up...Part V

Well, we are at February...Valentine's Day...all the girls in the house had a "fabulous" Valentine's...there were lots of roses and candy...and...

I was treated to a barbershop quartet at work, who sang..."Let me call you sweetheart", and one other song, that I didn't recognize, but was beautiful...it was a treat I will not soon forget!! This wonderful man I met, has been surprising me since day one...and I look forward to many more surprises!!

Emileigh turned 15 on the 22nd...we had the family "Fink day" the weekend before her birthday, she used a gift certificate she got, to have her hair "low-lighted"...I pay to have mine a little more blonde, and she pays to have hers a little more brown...go figure!! As you can see by her picture...she is still beautiful...just finished driver's ed, and is waiting for the driving portion to FINALLY get her permit...stay off the sidewalks!!!!

Christmas 2007....was GREAT!! The kids must have been extra good this year..Santa was good to them all...The girls got up long enough to open presents, and watch Evan open his, then it was back to bed for them...they got money, clothes, trucks...and stocking stuff, of course!!...I love Christmas...but I was really glad to see it go, this year!!!

Catching up...Part II..

Brittany went on her first cruise November 2007. Michael's family invited her to go with them for a week of "fun & sun". They had a really good time. They visited Cozumel (been there, done that, and loved it!), Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. She got alot of great pictures, these are just a few. She had the same reaction I did to the different places they went. She couldn't get over how blue, clear and beautiful the water was. She loved the cruise ship. They ice skated, rock climbed, and ate, and ate, and ate!! She is anxiously waiting for the next cruise. With college in the fall, she is not sure it will fit into the schedule, but in talking with Michael's mom, looks like the "Virgin Islands" are the next get-away!!

Catching up...Part I

Well...it has been awhile since I have "blogged" anything...I am going to try to catch everyone up on what has been going on here...so, here goes....
November 2007...Emileigh was in her first theatre production. It was a musical version of "A Christmas Carol", called Scrooge. It was a very good show, and the kids did wonderful...it was a 3-night event...I went to only the first showing, "opening night"...it was really good...Emileigh played a "party girl", at Fezziwig's party...she hated her costume...I thought she looked beautiful! She did a really good job, after all of the hours they practiced...it was good to see the final product!!
